So with the DC Reboot, my friend and I decided that the best way to support and sample the DC Universe that we’ll see for the next 25 years, we’ll have to buy ALL 52 Titles.
I know it’s crazy because this is just the first wave of new titles with throwaway books like Hawk and Dove. But this is the start of a new era and we’re glad to be part of it. We’re splitting it 50/50 and we’re about to start the live draft.
Honestly, I can’t tell if this post is serious or sarcasm. “DC universe that we’ll see for the next 25 years”?? 75% of these books won’t last 25 MONTHS. (And of the ones that do, a lot will survive in title-only, like “Action”, “Superman”, “Batman”, “Detective”, “Justice League”.)
When has DC done ANYTHING since Infinite Crisis (in the 1980s) that has lasted more than 2.5 years without some big canon-shattering event? What makes anyone think this will be any different?
