I don’t understand- are you honestly trying to say Jason Todd’s actions (murdering people he believes to be bad people outside of the legal system) are a good thing? That’s pretty fucked up. His victims might be “murdering rapists and those who prey on the poor,” but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t mentally ill (in the case of the super-villains) or trying to survive crippling poverty (in the case of the drug dealers he kills wantonly) themselves.

@Kaboom; Both Batman and Jason Todd (and not to mention Daredevil) take matter into their own hands. Its what people admire about them, — while the justice system lets those with unclean hands off scott free, Batman, Jason Todd and Daredevil do justice. Justice.
And we can sit here all day debating what justice is. Don’t be a asshat trying to be all lawyer like defending rapists that may be ill, because first of all I can tell you that THAT is a cop out, the whole insanity shit. Its every angle a lawyer wants to consider when some mother just killed all of her children.
Justice is setting the score by whats morally right, imo. What sets Jason Todd and Batman apart is Jason will finish the job, Batman doesn’t. This is what drove Jason to arrange a complex meeting & ask Batman why the Joker is still alive. Because while Batman has every capability to kill the Joker, he doesn’t. Batman has this thing where he has mercy. Now Jason, having been beaten by the Joker and being taken away from Batman, this may have taken away this trait of ‘mercy’. May have.
